Koffee with Karan: Rakhi Snubbed

In what could be deemed a shocking display of snobbery none of Karan Johar's potential guests agreed to come on his popular talk show with Rakhi Sawant.

Says a source, "Karan tried to convince a number of guests but no one from the A or B list from Bollywood is willing to share screen space with her. He finally failed. And had no choice but to request two of Rakhi's colleagues from Big Brother, Carol Gracias and Rahul Roy to join her."

The 'fun' episode isn't the only instalment of Koffee With Karan that the host has been shooting. In the last two weeks Karan has shot some of the most difficult combination of guests, trying to beat the deadline even while attending the preliminaries to the Ash-Abhishek wedding.

The toughest job was bringing all the Kapoors together. Says a source, "Karan got the three Kapoor brothers Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv, sister Reema and Neetu Singh together on the same show. Only Raj Kapoor's elder daughter Ritu Nanda (Shweta Bachchan's mother-in-law) was missing."

In another episode tv tycoon Ekta Kapoor comes on with three of her favourite blue-eyed boys from Balajee telefilms, namely Ronit Roy, Hiten Tejwani and Ram Kapoor.

Then in what promises to be one of Karan's favourite tete-a-tete he chats up Madhuri Dixit. "Everyone knows Karan is a huge Madhuri fan. He in fact was a kind of assistant during Dil To Pagal Hai. And adores Madhuri since then. At the end of Madhuri's show Karan calls Rani Mukherjee on. Rani herself is a huge Madhuri fan."

The last episode for the season was recorded a few days ago. It brings together Shilpa and her sister Shamita and even ropes in their mother at the end.

That brings the curtain down on this season of Koffee With Karan. It's unlikely that Karan will be back with a third season since he's now part of NDTV's new entertainment channel.

Says a source, "Though the brand Koffee With Karan remains with Star, what's the brand worth without Karan?"

Mallika vs Himesh Reshammiya now

Action never stops with Mallika Sherawat. This sexy babe of Bollywood and the 'Unveiled' lady of Hollywood will now play a negative role.

The name of the film is 'Aap Ka Suroor', the debut movie as an actor for music composer and singer, the man in the cap, Himesh Reshammiya. The role will be a vital one in the film, according to the sources.

The movie has seven tracks by the man himself and possibly one of the tracks will be around the 'Mayya Mayya' girl. Produced by Vinay Tarneja and directed by Prashant Chadha, 'Aap Ka Suroor' will be introducing a new face Riya into the industry.

The film which is slated to hit the silver screens on June 29th is said to be based on the life story of Himesh himself.

The film has two endings; a good and sad one and the decision as to which ending will be used for the film is yet to be decided.

Doesn't matter which ending will be used but the good news of Mallika in the film will surely draw more crowds to the multiplex.

Kangana rocks in steamy scenes

Kay Kay Menon, one of the finest actors in Bollywood was paired opposite sexy siren Kangana to do a lovemaking scene. He faltered and was nervous. He has done all kind of roles with equal ease and comfort before.

Kay Kay Menon plays a businessman who has an extra-marital affair with Kangana in the film Metro. Kay Kay got extremely nervous while performing a steamed-up, lovemaking scene, something that was an integral part of the narrative. Kangana, on the other hand, was at ease.

Kangana shares a very comfortable relationship with Anurag Basu and attributes her acting skills to him. She has confidence that Anurag would shoot the intimate scenes between Kay Kay Menon and her very aesthetically. From day one, no one was worried about shooting these intimate scenes.

Anurag Basu laughed and added, "Every actor is a bit nervous shooting intimate scenes. I am very nervous as a director shooting such sequences. Metro is a film which demands such a sequence between Kay Kay and Kangana.

The story is about Kay Kay who is married to Shilpa but is having an extra-marital affair with Kangana. To establish their relationship, this sequence was crucial to the film."

When contacted Kay Kay chose to rubbish the news and says, "I was not nervous at all as by now, I am quite the veteran with so much experience behind me. The scene was shot aesthetically and it is not a big deal at all. I think we all should stop giving so much importance about having a lovemaking scene."
