Would BIG BROTHER be Sunny Deol's 21st century ZIDDI?

Guddi Dhanoa's BIG BROTHER would finally be hitting the screens on March 30.

The film's release has been pushed around for a while in the last couple of months but the promotion has picked up again to reaffirm March 30 as the date that has been closed upon.

Originally titled DEODHAR GANDHI, this Sunny Deol-Priyanka Chopra film has been in the making for years but unlike two other dated releases in recent times, NEHLLE PE DEHLLA and SARHAD PAAR, it is being supported by decent promotion.

Also, in spite of Sunny Deol loosing some ground in the last few years, BIG BROTHER seems like a product that would get him back into the limelight, just like ZIDDI did many years back for which director Guddu Dhanoa was at the helm too.

An action drama, it has Sunny Deol in vintage form and if the current promos on air are any indication, get ready for yet another growl-and-roar proceedings on the big screen.

What is contrasting though is the fact that the film's music boasts of some real mellow numbers especially Ustad Sultan Khan/Zubin sung 'Laal Laal' and Kunal Ganjawala/Shreya Ghoshal rendered 'Piya', both of which have a melodious romantic appeal to them and have been picked up by the lovers of good music
